Alleyways : Alleys, entries, gunnels, snickets, kitties, twitchels, wynds, mews, opways, closes … whatever you call them take pictures of them, giving them interest (if it’s possible!)

The Colour Red : Photographing the colour red requires careful handling because red is the strongest and most attention-grabbing spectrum in visual arts, yet it easily clips and flattens into a two-dimensional block of tone.  Ideally it should be present in small doses, as an accent.
