Wood : This subject is intended to be images of wood, rather than ‘a wood’.  It could be a close-up of a piece of wood or a shot of an object made from wood. Emphasise the textures and patterns in the wood, making them the focal point of the image.

Shadow Play - Light and Shadow : Shadow photography uses light and darkness to create dramatic, high-contrast and artistic images, emphasising depth, mood and storytelling.  It often involves shooting during the golden hour for long, soft shadows, or at midday for sharp, harsh shadows, often placing the light source behind or to the side of the subject.  The images must be clear and sharp to get the best result
