For all ‘crafters’, and those who don’t think they are creative but would like to try new things – an opportunity to try out a range of crafts and creativity, from quilling to needle felting, screen printing and much more. We welcome members of the group to bring their own ideas and skills to share with the rest of us. I personally don’t profess to be an expert in any particular craft but I have ‘had a go’ at many techniques and love trying out new things, preferring to make, create and upcycle where I can, rather than buy. Occasionally we may bring in a professional demonstrator to help us develop new areas of expertise.
There will be a small charge, to cover tea/coffee and the cost of the room, (which will be dependent on numbers). We may need to ask for a contribution for materials.
We usually meet on the second Monday of the month at 10:00 am at St Jude’s Hall on Woodborough Road (opposite Sainsbury’s). St Jude’s Hall is a great venue, with ample parking and accessible facilities.
For more information or to join the group please send me an email.
