This is a permanent group but one that meets for 3 to 4 sessions for one project then takes a break until the next project – intending to have 3 projects a year.

The new Project Craft group is a great success. We have made 7 wire trees and discussed other future projects. We have added more projects for 2024.

The next craft project group will be 3 sessions 5^th 12^th and 19^th March at 10 a,m,. Look at the photos of the samples of flowers you can achieve with the correct porcelain clay and a bit of technique. If your dexterity is not great that is Ok as Theresa has tools and tricks to minimise any difficulties.

As well as a small posy of flowers, the plan is to also use a different clay to mould a couple of items to decorate a frame or tile. 

Theresa will go into detail about the different clays etc on the market and the different uses each type of clay has.

Other projects include making a beaded necklace and the other. will be learning basic crochet by making a lacy collar. The necklace can be worn any time and mine are openly admired. The collar can go with any round-necked cardigan, jumper or blouse and are very on-trend at present. The making of wire trees will be repeated around July 2024.
