Learning to play the Ukulele is a new group for MaD u3a.  We have two members who are able to teach you how to play.  The first intake of beginners is taking place in February 2024.  You do not need to have your own instrument as this will be provided.  The numbers are limited due to the availability of instruments.  Once the first group have a good understanding of the rudiments of play, then they can move onto an intermediate group.  We already have some people ready and waiting to join the intermediate group because they have previously played and have their own instrument.  We are compiling a waiting list for the next intake of beginners.  If you are interested in either level, then please email [email protected] saying whether or not you have any experience.

The Ukulele Group meets at the Baptist church (on the right of the Church Hall) on Westdale Lane. The sessions are 2.00-4.00 pm every Thursday afternoon.
