Stroller walks take place on the first Friday of each month, weather permitting. The Strollers are usually people who prefer to walk for up to one hour, at shorter distances and at a slower pace than the other groups. We try to use local parks where car parking is easy and there are well-defined footpaths. Well-behaved dogs will be welcome.

On 6 December, we are making a change to our usual programme of strolls.  The Strollers are going to Highfields Park at the university.  There is parking available at Highfields but most members will travel by bus or tram.  Lifts to the tram will be offered to those that prefer not to drive at all.  After our walk, we shall be visiting the Lakeside café for refreshments.  For those who are interested and have time, there will be a free exhibition running in the Weston Gallery – Tales from the Caves, discovering the history of the caves underneath Nottingham.  It opens at 12 noon.  Full details with more accurate timings will be sent to members nearer the time.

Members who have already registered interest in these walks will receive an email nearer the time giving details of where to meet.
