Not to be confused with the cheese called Pecorino!
Pecorino is a high-quality, dry white wine made from the Pecorino grape, primarily grown in central Italy. It is known for its vibrant, crisp acidity, mineral notes, and complex aromas of citrus, green apple, and tropical fruit. The name comes from the Italian word for sheep ("pecora"), as sheep were once grazed in vineyards planted with this grape.
